Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) fulfil a vital role in schools; supporting learning and helping to raise standards. This meeting will provide an opportunity to network with HLTA colleagues from other Havering schools, share good practice, consider recent developments in education and address identified development needs.
British Council meeting & EAL co-ordinators' network meeting (Autumn Term 2019)
This is a special EAL co-ordinators' session in two parts. Part one is suitable for senior leaders, EAL co-ordinators and those leading on SMSC provision and international links. Part two is suitable for EAL co-ordinators.
First Aid at Work Course ( 3 days ) 21st - 23rd October 2019
This course meets the HSE's criteria for a first aid at work qualification. The qualification lasts for three years.
Extra Paediatric Module to First Aid at Work 23rd October 2019
This add-on course is ideal for individuals who also require first aid skills specific to children and infants. This course is an add-on to the First Aid at Work course. People who either work, or spend time in proximity to children and infants should attend this add on.
Early Years SENDCo Network Meeting (SENCo Briefing)
The session’s gives the opportunity for all Early Years special educational needs co-ordinators (SENCo’s) in private, voluntary and independent settings, to update on new developments relevant for children with special educational needs and /or disabilities. It also provides the opportunity to network and share good practice. The session will include a series of presentations and/or workshops on relevant topics, this provides opportunities to work with other SENCo’s and learn new skills.
