In partnership with EES for schools, we are proud to announce our annual conference taking place on 31st January 2019, 8:15am – 3:15pm at CEME Rainham.
Conference speakers will be:
David Laws – David joined the Education Policy Institute as Executive Chairman in September 2015. Between 2010 and 2015, David served in the Coalition Government as Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Schools Minister, and Cabinet Office Minister.
Carole Willis – Chief Executive of the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER), an independent, not for profit organisation dedicated to providing research and analysis to help improve outcomes for children and young people.
Leora Cruddas – CEO of the Confederation of School Trusts (CST). She was previously Director of Policy and Public Relations for the Association of School and College Leaders, where she was the author of ASCL’s Blueprint for a self-improving system
Sam Ellis – Sam Ellis started teaching in 1972. From 1998 to 2008 he was the Secondary Heads Association and then ASCL branch secretary for the area. He represented local secondary headteachers on the Schools’ Forum.
Caroline Gielnik – A strong advocate around the importance of a positive workplace culture, Caroline currently works closely with senior leadership teams in hundreds of schools to ensure they create an environment that is conducive for staff (and ultimately pupils) to thrive.
